Jobs in the Disability Sector: Support Worker Information Session

The Southern Disability Workforce Hub, hosted by Career Partners Plus Inc, is hosting a free  Information Session containing up-to-date information on Jobs in the Disability Sector; with a focus on Support Worker roles.

The Government of South Australian established the Southern Disability Workforce Hub to assist with connecting job-seekers to local employers, employment agencies, and training providers to help fill local jobs.

With representatives from Minda Inc and Programmed (agency support staff), you will receive important information regarding these organisations and their recruitment processes as well as different roles within this rapid growth sector and the variety of roles and vacancies available.

We will also invite you to fill in our expression of interest form to enable us to forward you information on a range of employment opportunities across the Southern Adelaide, Western metro, Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island regions.

Session Content:
*Open to job seekers or people who want to change their career path and are interested in working in the disability sector (particularly support worker roles)
*An overview of the range of jobs available in the disability sector
*Details of different clients supported and requirements for the various roles
*Details of various recruitment processes
*Presentations from two disability sector employers

Additional information:
*The session will be 1 hour with time at the end to fill in Expression of Interest forms
*Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of their current resume and any other supporting documentation
*Neat Casual Attire
