Connecting people, jobs and skills in the Disability sector.
Disability Workforce Hubs connect job seekers with local employers, training providers and employment agencies to help fill local job opportunities in the growing disability sector.
Each Hub has a Coordinator who works with local employers and supports connections to local job seekers. There are six Disability Workforce Hubs across the State, two in metropolitan Adelaide and four in regional South Australia.
The Southern Hub is one of six funded by the State Government to connect job seekers with employers, training providers and support agencies to meet workforce demand expected as a result of the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) roll-out across the Southern Adelaide metropolitan area, Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island from 1st January 2018.
If you are a job seeker interested in working to support people with disabilities, OR an employer in the sector looking to hire staff, please contact the Southern Hub on P: (08) 7231 5067 to see how we can help. Visit https://mysupportmychoice.sa.gov.au for more information about the Disability Workforce Hubs.
The Southern Adelaide Hub is hosted by Career Partners Plus (CPP) Inc, with shopfronts in two locations at Christies Beach and Warradale; Southern metropolitan Adelaide, the Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island. CPP also provides Hub support across Western metropolitan Adelaide, in partnership with Northern Futures Disability Workforce Hub.
